On November 11, 2024, a delegation led by Professor Shenjian Xu, Dean of the School of Juris Master, China University of Political Science and Law (CUPL), successfully visited the Faculty of Law of Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE) in Hungary. The delegation included Associate Researcher and Vice Dean Min Liang, Dr. Ningyao Ye, Mr. Wu Di, and Ms. Cao Huiqun.

The delegation held discussions with Professor Pál Sonnevend, Dean of the Department of International Law, Professor Gábor Kajtár, Vice Dean, Professor Réka Somssich, Vice Dean of the Department of Private International Law and European Economic Law, Professor Krisztina Rozsnyai, Vice Dean of the Department of Administrative Law, and Mr. Ákos Udovecz, Director of the International Office.
During the discussions, the two sides exchanged in-depth views on their respective strengths, educational models, international cooperation experiences, and the latest developments in legal research. The goal was to enhance mutual understanding between the two faculties and explore opportunities for collaboration and potential future partnerships.
Through their dialogue, the two parties reached a consensus on deepening cooperation within the framework of institutional partnership projects. They also discussed education models that integrate legal theory with practice, as well as methods to provide effective legal education by leveraging their respective legal systems and cultural contexts.
This visit not only strengthened the bond between the two faculties but also laid a solid foundation for future collaboration. Both sides expressed their anticipation of further cooperation in legal education and research, with the shared objective of cultivating legal professionals with a global perspective.
